ZAPO Lodge

ZAPO LODGE,
THE MOUNTAIN

Waking Up to the Andes

In the Sacred Valley of the Incas,
Zapo Lodge carries on this same intention.

Here, from your bed,
the Andean mountains open up before your eyes.

The light changes throughout the day.
At sunrise, the peaks are tinted with gold,
then gently darken as night falls.

The 8 independent bungalows are carefully positioned:

no obstructed views
no overlooking neighbors
only nature

Each unit is a refuge.
A space designed to slow down.

THE CULINARY EXPERIENCE

Half-Board as a Ritual

At both Havaiki and Zapo Lodge,
days begin and end around the table.

Half-board is an integral part of the experience.
Not as a constraint, but as a ritual.

In the morning, a breakfast prepared with local, seasonal products.
In the evening, a warm dinner inspired by Andean cuisine —
simple, wholesome, and generous.

After a day of exploration, returning to the lodge,
sitting down, sharing a meal, watching night fall…

Here, no one is in a hurry.
Everything is already in its place.

FREEDOM & DISCOVERY

A Lodge, Not a Fixed Program

Zapo Lodge imposes nothing.
It simply offers.

From the lodge, everything is accessible — at your own pace:

Maras and its ancient salt mines
Moray, the former Inca agricultural laboratory
Pisac and its traditional market
Ollantaytambo, the gateway to Machu Picchu
Gentle walks, hiking, cycling
Encounters with local communities
Free time at the lodge: reading, resting, contemplation

Some days are full.
Others are intentionally empty.

THE ZAPO SPIRIT

One Shared Signature, Two Expressions

At Havaiki, life follows the rhythm of the water.
At Zapo Lodge, life follows the rhythm of the land.

Yet the spirit remains the same:

Direct connection with nature
Personalized welcome
Shared cuisine
Embraced slowness
Deep respect for the place

Zapo Lodge is not a copy of Havaiki.
It is its mountain sister.
